The Los Al Boys basketball team completed their Sunset league season with a 59-48 win over Edison.
The win improves their league mark to 9-1, and overall record to 15-11 and hopefully will give them a little better position in the first round of the CIF playoffs which begin next Friday.
The Griffins clinched their ninth straight Sunset League title on Tuesday with a win over Fountain Valley. It was the program’s 15th Sunset League title in 16 years.
Thursday’s win was indicative of the Griffins season with a very balanced attack. Three players — Jack Emmons, Chris Kapano, and Wes Mitter, scored 12 points and forward Ryan Hurst added 11.
